Mr Ron Newport
Ron has been a practicing thermographer with over 30 years experience spanning all sectors from electric thermography, building thermography, environmental applications, fire scanning, medical to NDT on ships and aircraft. Ron's second love is as an infrared instructor, educator and course developer who provides enthusiastic instruction from the beginning to the very end of a course. With over 27 years as an international infrared instructor his training methods are well received by his students. Ron is also a trainer of infrared instructors, many of the experienced, high-quality trainers today have been through his program.
| Ron was the owner and Director of Academy of Infrared Thermography and was the first to deliver a Level II thermography course for Infraspection Institute in 1988. A Level III Institute of Infrared Thermographer, Ron has published numerous technical papers and articles on infrared thermography applications, co-written existing standards, and is now the Director of Institute of Infrared Thermography.
