Why is it important to troubleshoot and maintain electrical system and grounding?

Incompatibilities between power system characteristics and electrical and electronic equipment tolerances have caused operating problems and loss of productivity in industrial and commercial facilities. Undesirable supply characteristics often appear in the forms of voltage disturbances as flickers, transients and surges, or harmonic waveform distortions. Increasing, transient voltage disturbances due to short circuits, lightning, and power system switching are causing widespread disruption to operation of sensitive electronic equipment.

System designers and facility engineers are in the spotlight of finding effective and efficient solutions of providing powering and grounding in a manner that is suitable to the operation of their equipment and compatible with the premise wiring system and other connected equipment. They often have to deal with the fact that their equipment can be a contributor to, and not just a victim of, power and grounding incompatibilities in power system.

Proper grounding and bonding is particularly important for achieving safe and reliable operation of power supply and connected equipment. Damages or disruptions propagated via the grounding and bonding network are increasing, but seldom detected because of a lack of understanding of grounding related problems. The issue of grounding is often complicated by conflicting demands for dealing with electrical noise and safety simultaneously.

With this full day seminar, it will provide you with a good understanding of the engineering principles and best practices for powering and grounding in commercial and industrial facility. Techniques for troubleshooting and maintenance will be highlighted too. So, don't wait further. Sign up for this hot seminar now before seats run out.
